The metered ball has been engineered to rotate 90 degrees to obtain quick bubble-tight shut-off, which also allows our ball valves to be used for throttle and on/off applications. With our original design, which significantly reduces the pressure drop across the ball valve, and thus operates smoothly and efficiently and is expected to last much, much longer in aggressive environments.
