The BFLON PTFE lined jacketed plug valve in particular is intended for applications where the process media must be heated or cooled to maintain viscosity or prevent solidification. The heavy duty metal body is fully lined with the highest quality PTFE to ensure all wetted surfaces are fully protected from all aggressive acids, alkalis and solvents. The jacket allows liquids (heating or cooling) to be able to circulate through the valve to keep the process media at a temperature that does not interfere with the integrity of the seals.
