The BFLON lined wafer type swing check valve allows flow to move in a forward direction only and automatically, if the downstream pressure is at a lower pressure than the upstream pressure; and it prevents a reverse flow and stops potential damage to pumps, compressors and process. The wafer type styles are compact, and the entire valve is fully lined with the highest quality PTFE which provides complete chemical resistance to all wetted parts, and protects all wetted parts from aggressive acids, alkaline substances and solvents. The design of the valve utilises a swing disc to minimise energy loss, and low pressure loss and smooth low resistance flow can be achieved, and can therefore be used continuously.
